OTTAWA PL CHURCH  SUMMER GARAGE SALE
JULY 5th 2003

In July the members of the PL Ottawa Church held their annual summer garage sale.  Here are some photos from that successful event (click image to enlarge):

Our volunteer members gathered at the PL Ottawa Church early morning (at 7:AM) to help bring all sales items outside.  By this time, many passers-by had stopped to shop for the great bargains.

Kagami and Amanda help to bring out items outside.

It was loads of fun setting up, and creatively sorting items to better display all we had.

Carlindo assists in bringing out more items... this year, PL members donated many computer parts plus printers, as well as bicycles. They were ALL good sellers.

Elisabeth, Amanda and Silvina were the designated cashiers... they were selected for their great smiles as they received the money from our customers.  Here, Goto-sensei offers cold drinks and yummy warm breakfasts to all who were there to help.

Jack, our most experienced volunteer, mingles with the shoppers to assist them in finding good bargains.

Bargain hunters from all over Ottawa were not disappointed, many items were in excellent condition and much of it sold within the first 2 or 3hrs of the sale.

We closed down shop at noon!

Bravo everyone!!  We had a wonderful sale, all thanks to everyone's misasage.
