Its' motto is "Life
is Art" and this is its basic precept. If you can master a
way of life by practicing the teachings of this philosophy, you can attain
a state of mind that parallels Perfect Liberty - total mental freedom. Life
can then become a continuous, conscious self-expression; hence life is art.

It was originally founded as an order in Japan
in 1924 called Mitake-kyo Tokumitsu Daikyokai. Today we know it as PL
and it has over 500 churches in ten different countries with more than two
million members.
